What roads led you to the Tobin Montessori School?
I moved to Massachusetts from New Jersey because of relocation of my husband's job. I was looking for a teaching position in the Children's House. The Tobin team hired me because of my quiet smile. I am still here and smiling.
When school is closed because of a snow storm, what do you like to do?
Even though the body is tuned to get up early in the morning, I pretend to sleep. I take my time to drink tea leisurely and watch the snow fall. I call my brothers and sisters in India to let them know that I have a snow day. I catch up with unfinished tasks. I try to cook something warm for my family.
Who would you like to play you in a movie?
Anne Hathaway.
Which you prefer, ocean or lake?
Ocean and its waves. I do not like cold ocean water though.
Favorite sports team?
I do not know the ABCs of sports. Megan and Kori wanted me to come and watch the Red Sox games with them, but I'm not even sure when to clap, cheer, or stay quiet. An interesting note: My husband's office is behind Fenway Park.
Coffee or tea?
Tea.
Favorite flavor of ice cream?
Orange pineapple from Kimball Farm.
