Friends of Tobin's Annual Spring Fling and Silent Auction is scheduled for Saturday, May 9, 2:30-4:30, at the Tobin.
Knucklebones will guide the kids in active fun and games with their great equipment and skilled coaches for two hours while parents can mingle, chat and bid on a great selection of silent auction items.
Each year, our FoT spring event raises several thousands of dollars that allow our teachers and staff to improve the learning environment for our students by funding such things as the purchase of supplies for special projects, curriculum-related arts-enrichment such as Dance in the Schools, field trips and special guest visitors to inspire our children.
A special note went home this week. Please help us gather a great selection of auction items for fellow parents and friends to bid on during our May 9 event. Gift certificates to your favorite shops and restaurants, or a consultation with your business. Or if you have a hobby that you are willing to share with a person or a group who gets the winning bid, such as teaching a group of adults or children to cook a favorite dish or knit a scarf, please submit your idea to our auction.
