story dice - kidsArav, Xavier and Felix started a story using "Story Dice." With a roll of the dice the picture that is shown that picture has to be incorporated in the story.

The boys from 211 came by the office to share the beginning of their story....Fay and Mary are looking forward to hearing more of the story as it develops!

field trip photosSome of our students decided not to attend Camp Beckett this year, BUT they got to go to Fresh Pond Ecology Center and rock climbing!

making applesauceStudents from room 284 were seen gathered outside their classroom making apple sauce. The apple sauce made the school smell so good while it was cooking!

aquarium Miss Stacey's Room 204 students were so excited to see the tank up and had lots of questions right away. At morning meeting Miss Stacey shared how we have these amazing volunteers, Yukiko and Eric, who come in periodically and help with the tank, even taking the fish home over the summer.

The students were really excited about the mystery invertebrate, and Miss Stacey told them that she had no clue and suggested they put a sticky note on the tank with their thoughts. Gavyn was all over it as you can see...he's hoping he was correct. And one fish didn't quite like the move, opting to die by filter....such is life!

Thank you again, Yukiko and Eric! The buzz around the room is a love of the tank!
