LE classes spent January looking at and evaluating more than 25 picture books published in 2016 for our Mock Caldecott. Students picked “Best in Snow” as the winner with three honor books.
One of their honors was also one of the real Caldecott Award committee's honor selections. You can see the results of the actual
Caldecott winners here. The Caldecott is awarded to the book with the most distinguished illustrations.
