Where did you grow up and what brought you to Tobin?

I was born in Kiev, Ukraine and moved to Brighton, MA when I was 6 years old. I moved to Brookline, MA soon after until I went away to college. When I was in college, my summer job was camp counselor for Cambridge Community Schools at the Morse School. I have worked in Cambridge ever since!

Favorite time of year and why?

I love the fall because you can live with your windows open and because it’s also the harvest season! I love to cook and eat fall harvest fruits and veggies!

Favorite teacher you had in school and why?

My high school ceramics teacher Dr. Gregory Steinsek, because he inspired me to become an art teacher!

Skiing in Aspen or sunning in the tropics?

Tropics all the way!!! You will find me on a tropical beach at least once a year.

Favorite movie?

I love movies, it’s hard to choose…I love the Lord of the Rings trilogy – I can watch those over and over again…sometimes all three in a row.

Dark or milk chocolate?

Dark, and extra dark chocolate.
