Wildlife!

Jack, from the New England Wildlife Center in South Weymouth, came to room 290 with a few of his animal friends. Jack presented a Ball Python, a Tortoise, and a Bearded Dragon to the children. The children learned many things, had the opportunity to touch and hold the animals, asked questions, and learned about the rescue component of a wildlife center. This connects nicely with the zoology component of our curriculum, and the children had a wonderful learning experience. The children enjoyed meeting Caren's little sister, Susan Delahunt, who is on the board of NEWC.
