Lower Elementary classrooms have been learning about the daily life of the Wampanoag in the 17th century, as well as their current lives and communities. This week (and continuing next week), LE classrooms had a visitor from Plimoth Plantation. Tim, a member of the Cherokee Nation, visited classrooms to teach students about Wampanoags seasonal way of life and their respect for all living beings. Tim brought artifacts of traditional life, such as wooden bowls and spoons, animal furs and tools for children to observe and pass around.
