Where did you grow up and what brought you to Tobin?
I grew up and went to school in the Worcester area, originally from Rochdale. After I graduated from Wheelock College with my Masters Degree, I started working in the Tobin Community School in November, 2015. After a few years, I grew very close to the staff and many families I still have the pleasure of working with at Tobin today. I knew I wanted to take on a more prominent and influential role in this community, so here I still am!

What is your favorite time of year?
I like most of the seasons evenly, but if I had to pick one it would be Winter. I don’t necessarily love the cold, but I do love the snow!

Who was your favorite teacher at school and why?
I remember all of my teachers since Kindergarten and have many fond memories with most of them; particularly my art teachers. However, the teacher who stood out the most was my middle school Science teacher, Mr. Herbert Andrews. He was very helpful and made learning fun and interesting. Other than Math and Science, he taught me you can still have fun at school while being productive. Having a sense of humor and significant kindness makes a big difference when trying to learn and teach.

Skiing in Aspen or sunning in the tropics?
Skiing because I would get bored sitting around in the tropics… And sunburned.

What is a hobby you have outside of school?
I am a big fan of music, particularly Classic Rock. I play guitar in my spare time and co-lead a Rock Band class in the Tobin Community School. I also enjoy going to live concerts and collecting original vinyl records from my favorite bands like The Who and The Beatles.

Favorite movie?
This is always a hard choice for me because movies and film are another big interest of mine. I have many favorites spanning different genres, but it can be narrowed down to a tie between Star Wars: A New Hope and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Dark or milk chocolate?
