Cambridge Firefighter Visit!

Last week, Firefighter Bernardo from Engine 9 visited our school to present fire safety rules. Firefighter Bernardo is a former Tobin student who works for the Fire Department in Cambridge.
Firefighter Bernardo's presentation was informative and engaging. We would like to thank him for sharing his expertise!
Firefighter Bernardo and the students discussed the fire safety tips:
* The importance of 911 calls.
* When the smoke alarm sounds, GO OUTSIDE and STAY OUTSIDE.
* When it is smoky, crawl to the exit.
* If your clothes catch fire, STOP, DROP, and ROLL.
* Don’t touch matches, candles, or the stove.
* Make a fire escape plan with your family.
