Meet Our Children’s House Paraprofessional Ms. Nasim Rahravani!
Where did you grow up and what brought you to Tobin?
I grew up in Iran. I used to work in a couple Montessori schools – and this year, because of this warm and lovely community, I decided to join this amazing school.
What is your favorite time of year?
My favorite time of the year is summer and spring.
Who was your favorite teacher at school and why?
My favorite teacher at school was my sport teacher at elementary level, because I was playing handball and it was one of my favorite moments in my life.
Skiing in Aspen or sunning in the tropics?
Skiing in Aspen.
What is a hobby you have outside of school?
At school, I got my masters degree in music. My hobby is playing guitar and piano. I also teach piano and guitar as a private teacher. I’m a member of MIT chorale group, and I’m a potter as well. I’m doing pottery in the Watertown studio, which is my second job after school hours. During my free time, due to my love of music, I enjoy going to concerts.

Always love dark chocolate.
