Tobin Upper Elementary Overnight Trip to Nature's Classroom & Day Trips for Upper Elementary Students!
“I have been to Nature’s Classroom once last year, but now I see that every year, every trip, every experience is different. For example, I did some new things and re-did others, but even the activities I repeated felt different with new people. One of the things I had never done was a game called Find the Tree”
“I think that going to Nature’s Classroom is an important experience for Upper Elementary students because it teaches crucial values like responsibility, teamwork, and independence. It also is important to learn how to work with people you don’t usually interact with. Nature’s Classroom is an amazing trip for 4th and 5th graders to go on, and we are very lucky to have this because not all schools get to experience an overnight like this. Nature’s Classroom teaches lessons used in everyday life. This is why Nature’s Classroom is an important part of being an Upper Elementary student”
“This year's Nature’s Classroom experience was even more unique and life changing than last year. I made so many new friends and had such a great time. I’m really crushed that I can’t return next year. My friends made Nature’s Classroom a lot more enjoyable and I was very grateful to be in the same cabin with them”
Students named Rock Climbing as some of the best parts of their Field Experience week. They felt proud after facing new challenges. "We had to do tricky stuff but it was worth it”
