Hi Tobin Community!

AlbertMy name is Albert Jimenez (he/him/his) and I am so excited to be working with you all. I am a first generation college graduate and earned both my Bachelor's degree and Master's degree from Boston University. I grew up in San Diego, California which means two things--I am a tortured fan of its sports teams and I love Mexican food. I grew up in a Latinx, immigrant household where I was lucky enough to learn from the strongest women I know.

I have taught in upper elementary and middle schools and have experience teaching all core academic subjects. These experiences have reminded me that education, for staff as well as students, is always about learning and growing. I feel so lucky to be doing both of those things with such a committed and joyful community.

When I'm not working, I love to spend time outdoors biking, hiking, or kayaking (and apparently creating unintentional rhymes).

I look forward to our upcoming school year and all we will learn together!

Warmly,

Albert
