Fire Safety Visit in Children’s House Classrooms!
Posted on 10/31/2023
Last week Firefighter Bernardo from Engine 9 visited Children’s House students for a fire prevention presentation. Firefighter Bernardo is a former Tobin student who works for the Cambridge Fire Department. Firefighter Bernardo's presentation was informative and engaging. We would like to thank him for sharing his expertise!

Firefighter Bernardo and the students discussed these fire safety tips:
* The importance of 911 calls.
* When the smoke alarm sounds, GO OUT and STAY OUT.
* When it is smoky, crawl to the exit.
* If your clothes catch fire, STOP, DROP, and ROLL.
* Don’t touch matches, candles, or the stove.
* Make a fire escape plan with your family.
