Greetings from Gardener Emily!

Hello Tobin community! My name is Emily Barrow, and I am the CitySprouts garden educator. That means every Monday, I am at the Tobin taking care of the school garden and teaching garden-based science classes. If teachers choose to partner with me, that means I meet with their class once a week (or once every other week) to teach a science curriculum that expands upon what the students are already learning. When the weather cooperates, we learn outside in the garden. For the winter, I have been bringing in my worm bin and we have been exploring worms! Soon, we'll dive into the lives of snails, and then mushrooms.
I love being a part of the Tobin community, and I thank you all for the way you have welcomed me! I very much look forward to working with you!
