Tobin Mock Caldecott Award Winners!

Lower Elementary Tobin students spent much of Jan. and Feb. evaluating and rating picture books published in 2021 just like the real Caldecott committee does to choose the winning books.
Tobin students overwhelmingly chose “Mel Fell” written and illustrated by Corey Tabor, with honor books “Ship in A Bottle” by Andrew Prahin and “Bear Island” by Matthew Cordell.
The official winning Caldecott book is “Watercress” by Andrea Wang. All the winning books can be found here.
