The Tobin School Advisory Council meets the first Tuesday of each month from 8 - 9AM in room 129 and is open to the public. Two co-chairs of the council are elected to design the agenda and facilitate the meeting in conjunction with the principal. At the beginning of the school year, parent and teacher representatives are nominated and subsequently elected to represent Children’s House, Lower Elementary, and Upper Elementary. Two of the elected parent representatives are also designated as Tobin representatives to the Citywide School Advisory Group (CSAG) comprised of parent representatives drawn from the School Advisory Councils of each of the public schools in Cambridge. CSAG meets one evening a month for two hours with the Superintendent and Cabinet of the Cambridge Public School District.
