Rainbow Club!

Rainbow Club!

During the last Rainbow Club we made Pride Day Hearts. We made them because of Pride Month to decorate our school. While in the last class of Rainbow Club we started by cutting out pieces of colored paper in different colors and wrote different positive messages on them with colored markers and handed them in. We hung the hearts up in the entrance to Tobin where everyone could see them. These hearts are a positive message for Pride Day.

Here at our Tobin Rainbow Club community, we acknowledge and support our LGBTQIA+ participants and community members as well as creating a safe environment for all.Over the past school year every other Thursday all Rainbow Club members have come during lunch, with their lunch to whichever place Rainbow Club was taking place that day to work on projects or other things we would be doing in Rainbow Club. At Rainbow Club we would mostly do things involving LGBTQIA+, as an example we once did a Pride Day t-shirt contest where we got to design a t-shirt and submit the final drafts. Rainbow Club is a fun way to learn about and support LGBTQIA+. We hope you learned something!
