If you would like to contact a Tobin staff member, there are many ways to do this:
- Communication Folder: Write a note to the teacher
- Email: Type up a note to the teacher
When using email, please understand that teacher’s have limited access to email during the school day, so always allow at least 24 hours for a response during the school week. If you send an email to a staff member over the weekend, please know that staff may not see this message until Monday. All staff will try their best to respond to weekend emails by the end of the day on Monday.
- Telephone: Call the school
While email or a scheduled meeting are effective ways to reach staff here at school, please feel free to call the main office to leave a message with the school clerk or schedule a meeting. The school day is heavily scheduled so please understand that staff may not be able to respond to your phone message until after dismissal or early the next morning. Due to classroom and building responsibilities teachers will not be able to respond to any direct calls to their classrooms.
- Face-to-Face Meetings: Meet with a Tobin Staff Member, (including
administration) at the school
Please email the individual you would like to meet and provide a brief description and three times you are available. The staff member will arrange the meeting and invite the individuals who need to be present. Again, because the school day is so heavily scheduled we hope you appreciate the fact that unscheduled meetings will most likely be difficult to accommodate.
**We are always here in the office if you need immediate assistance---so please call us if you ever need to:
- Change dismissal plans
- Give your child a message
- Set up a meeting
- Ask about a school or classroom event
- Provide the classroom teacher with any critical information that he or she must have immediately
